My hope is that animals act a little more realistically in this one. In RDR, bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes... all of them, the moment they saw you, went full blown terminator. They would immediately pursue you full speed with intent to kill, undeterred by bullets. I've encountered all of these but cougars in the wild and experienced nothing but a photo op. There should be danger, sure, but tone it down a bit. Animals feel fear, too.
Just a pet peeve of mine in the first game that I hope they correct. It was sometimes difficult to appreciate all the landscape around me when I was constantly being ambushed by bloodthirsty animals. [Reply]
Sounds like it's going to be incredible. Eight years of development. Cyberpunk and maybe Ghosts of Tsushima are going to be the only open-world games that can come close to this. I'm starting to get antsy. [Reply]
