700 wins for Self today. He’s 57, so he may coach until he’s 70 (if he chooses to, it isn’t that unheard of for the greats).
If he averages 25 wins per season (which is probably conservative), he can make it over 1,000 by the time he retires. He may well be top 5 all time in wins when he retires. [Reply]
Alot of respect for TCU's Desmond Bane. The guy needs to shoot more, though. Too unselfish. Put the ball up.
Dotson was fantastic. Him and Doke had alot of chemistry today. They carried the team, nobody else really played well at all and KU wins by 16 on the road. [Reply]

Bane looks like a linebacker. Dude is built like Bobby Wagner. [Reply]

Yeah, he is way too passive on offense. He needs to demand the ball more, but Dixon also needs to coach better, and run more sets, and plays for Bane. I have never seen a team with the leading 3-point shooter in the Big 12 try to get the ball to said shooter less than TCU.

Yeah. And it’s amazing that Doke got it there. If he just would have figured out he needed to eat better as a freshman imagine what he could have become. [Reply]
Well deserved. One of my favorite players. Any Conference POY will get his jersey retired. Also a great 3-year starter.
Next is Thomas Robinson. Jeff Withey has a chance after that.
Then will be Ellis, Mason, and Graham (in that order).
Why? Morris didn’t make 1st team AA. Nor did Withey, nor Ellis. None were conf POY. They don’t belong up there. It’s become a joke how many mediocrities they retire. [Reply]

I think I agree with you. They are very close, but I don't think they quite are deserving.
Frank & Devonte are undoubtedly up there, though. [Reply]
