I've heard some good things about Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
http://www.buffalotrace.com/
Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.
Thanks

I bought a bottle of the KC Reiger's Whiskey. It's pricey ($36 a bottle) but it's good.

Evan Williams for Bourbon, Crown Royal for Whiskey. The Rieger Whiskey was a small bottle, like 750ml. It usually goes for around $45 a bottle, but I got mine on sale at Hy Vee.

My friend Gary likes Maker's Mark and Buffalo Trace. Makers is a little too strong for my tastes.

Hadn’t been paying attention and didn’t realize Weller stuff is now impossible to find including the cheap stuff.

It’s hard to find. The 10 year is very good but the 12 is over the top.

For relatively inexpensive...either Four Roses or Elijah Craig small batch are a good intro. Maker's is not bad either.

Crazy how pricey Whistle Pig has gotten. Used to pick it up fairly cheap.
