I am hoping the Diamondbacks win it all. A good friend of mine is a fan of theirs. Rockies fans talk crap for being a team without a World Series, Nationals fans are annoying and Dodgers fans are entitled.
And Cubs fans act like the world owns them something. [Reply]

im glad to see the FO admit a mistake. Dewitt take the wallet hit for the good of the team. Next year we start getting $100 million more a year in TV contract revenue. This won't hurt us as long as Mo doesn't make mistakes like this every year. I'm still bullish on another great era starting in 2019.
I think that a 2019 playoff rotation of Martinez/Reyes/Flaherty should be as good as any teams top three pitchers. That leaves a lot of talent to trade for a banger in the middle of the order bat or just improve the offense. [Reply]
I cant believe they were able to move that contract. I wonder how much $ we are paying them.

Leake, 29, is owed $55 million on the five-year, $80-million free agent contract he signed with the Cardinals before the 2016 season. He waived the no-trade clause in that contract, allowing the Cardinals to make the deal. He already has left the team, which is here for a 1:10 p.m. game today against the Brewers.
