I shot some Prairie Chickens last year in SD. I left two of them at Pete's Taxidermy in Burke SD to be mounted. Well I just returned from this years trip and I picked up the mount. It's pretty sweet.

The dogs and the birds have become a huge passion for me. The whole thing is art to me when it comes together. And it's a great day even when it doesn't.
I need a place to hunt in KS that's not to pricey. Preferably mixed bad hunting for Rooster and Quail with some Chickens, Huns and Sarptail thrown in. LOL

Come up here to Nebraska we have tons of room to hunt. have a couple game farms around where we hunt to. Shot my first all black rooster last year. he was an escapee from the game farm [Reply]

I've hunted in MO, IW, KS, SD and AL but never NB. I reckon I oughta' do that some day though. Probably no quail in NB....Where's the best place to bird hunt in NB? [Reply]
