We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Bell would do well here, but that guy was lucky as hell to be running behind that line in Pittsburgh. They are always one of the best run blocking units. [Reply]

Doubtful that Bell, who has been sitting on the couch a year would be effective behind the Chiefs Oline. Hunt was so amazing because he could break tackles and make his own holes in the line. Bell would have a ton of tackles for losses. He is so "patient" he won't even start running unless there is a huge gap for him. Steelers O line can do that- Chiefs.... :-)
Bell was dumb for not signing that contract- it is unlikely he will as much now as what he could have. But never say never- lots of stupid teams out there. [Reply]
I edited my post but you beat me to it. He averaged over 4.7 YPC in 3 of his 5 seasons. He might not be a perfect fit with Reid, but he’s close to it and would still be on of the best.
My question here though is would you really rather put 9+ mil per year into this instead of the defense? [Reply]
Exactly zero chance that this team signs Bell. I guess it's still fun to discuss it though.
Bell, pre sabbatical, would be great in any offense but he would only marginally improve this offense IMO, just because it's already loaded. I guess you could say it would be pretty much the same as when Hunt was here.
If there is one thing where you would spend money to improve on this offense it is the Oline. [Reply]
#49ers CB Richard Sherman is recruiting soon-to-be free agent safety Earl Thomas to come to San Francisco. Sherman says the #Cowboys will be in the mix and if offers are similar Thomas will end up in Dallas. (via @mattbarrows)
