I don't want them to give up their #1 for Clark at all but this is a hilarious comparison...he's way better than either Houston or Ford right now which is what we're talking about, not when they were drafted.

Chiefs have 3 mega-contracts coming due and just payed Mathieu...they cant afford anymore expensive FAs. Watkins is obviously gone as will be Fuller..Fisher too.

Time to start drafting replacement players to compensate for Mahomes cap-crushing contract.

Best Veach can do is a 2nd in next year's draft for guys like Peters and Ford. To turn around and give a haul for Frank Clark just screams incompetence that deserves immediate termination.

Happy or not, I’d be careful to give Veach too much blame or credit for a potential Clark trade.

That type of move would scream Andy Reid chasing that elusive ring during this window.
