The Lakers (or basically LeBron/a bunch of barely passable scrubs) were 20-14 and the 4th seed in the West when LeBron got injured this year. So are you ignorant to the fact or just being disingenuous? [Reply]

And what was their record when he came back playing the same? [Reply]

They were 26-25 upon his return. Still a good enough record to get into the playoffs, with plenty of games to spare to improve seeding. What happened? [Reply]
Since we're playing the "if ___ wasn't injured" game... Can we admit the warriors would have lost to the rockets if CP3 didn't get injured and that the warriors aren't invisible?

KD dominates the ball so much that is why. You will notice since KD has been out Dray brings up the ball a ton more. [Reply]
Oh no. LeBron playing backseat GM with Magic and Klutch Sports trying to force an Anthony Davis move backfired? So his teammates quit trying? Never saw that one coming. [Reply]

Or does the game not work that way?
LeBron was visibly not the same player after he returned from injury that he was before the injury. Could very well be the sign of further decline considering he's 34 as well, but we'll see. It's going to have to come eventually.
Warriors aren't losing to the Rockets as long as Harden continues to choke no matter what the other players on the roster are doing, so no. [Reply]

I still think the Warriors would have won in 7.
Dantoni would have gotten out coached by Kerr and CP3 is a notorious choker. They had their shot in game 7, but they missed a phenomenal amount of 3 pointers. [Reply]

Getting Anthony Davis as soon as possible is more important than making the playoffs as a 7th/8th seed and losing early this year. The gambit didn't play off for LeBron/Paul, but I think it's a sound strategy overall. They want AD there this fall rather than in 2020. [Reply]
