Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway. [Reply]

Basically the same case for Chandler (who was at the peak of his career as a defensive center) and Marion, a former 4x All-Star on the back half of his career. They got their scoring from Dirk and Terry and everything else they needed from those other three.
There's literally no comparison at all. The collective basketball IQ and talent of the first group isn't close.
Kidd was a shell of his former self by then and Terry/Chandler combined for 1 all star appearance in their combined careers. Anyone that watched the NBA that year saw the Mavs were essentially a 1 man show same as what Luka does now. [Reply]

A HOF guard who is a shell of himself is still miles better than anybody playing on the Mavs besides Luka today.
If you're comparing Kidd, Marion, Chandler, and Terry to the band of scrubs that Doncic has on his team right now, you either have no idea what you're talking about or you're simply being disingenuous for the sake of it. [Reply]
You guys tuned into the Portland vs Denver 3-point shootout? Just 5 minutes into the game and we've had 10 threes attempted. There might be close to 100 jacked up in this game lol [Reply]

Insane. Then I look at Lillard and Tatums dominant performance and it's just mind blowing these teams aren't trucking through the playoffs. This year or prior years. Especially Tatum considering he has tons of talent around him. [Reply]
I had a game in high-school like Booker is so far. 3 after 3 after 3, couldn't miss. I was tripping on acid though and in some crazy trance/zone. Never could replicate it again. [Reply]
