Per rival clubs, the asking price for Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey is two first-round picks.

That's a starting point. And added to what it'd cost to extend Ramsey, it's a lot. But it's not totally crazy, given what Seattle got for Frank Clark and Miami got for Laremy Tunsil.

I think you have a great point and thanks for your takes. I think the insecurity issues could be related to emotional concerns though. I think that’s the main problem in that some of these athletes lose out on managing their emotions properly that it interferes with their ability to focus and that could translate into them failing to get themselves together. Marcus Peters is a classic example of that. Imo, thats where the breakdowns start to happen.

That might be the case with Ramsey? Well, at least we saw glimpses of that recently. But, if he doesn’t manage that stuff and fails to get it get that together in that sense that could effect him down the road?

Also, this topic could be argued. Its really debatable. There are many psychological strategies/tactics that could work to make a successful athlete. And the strategies that are used vary from individual to individual. What works for one may not be best suited or fitted for the other. I guess it all depends on the individual?

One could say that maybe Ramsey acts the way he does because its his way of creating his own self fulfilling prophecy. Sometimes I believe that you are a product of what you believe in. So there is that. Plus, even if he is insecure, its good in a way to act the way if it means positive reinforcement so he doesn’t fall off his own wagon so to speak.
