They are. Mostly because of Brad Stevens. He is an outstanding coach! But Lebron is still Lebron, so they’ll have their work cut out for them to knock out the Cavs.
It’ll be interesting to see how much better they will be next year at full strength with Kyrie and Hayward. [Reply]

Im not sure its gonna be all that hard to beat the Cavs. They will throw all they have at slowing down Lebron and force the other guys to beat them. They cant. [Reply]

Exactly. If we were pickng teams from these two rosters, based on how guys are playing now, we'd pick Lebron first of course, but the next 3 players would be Celtics. They have a lot of good players. [Reply]

You won't mind if I save this quote for the future, do you? [Reply]

The Rockets are close enough already that smaller upgrades would be better. Lebron is too high maintenance for a team on the cusp like the Rockets.
Hes one of the best ever but the Rockets dont need all that. [Reply]

Would it be that different than KD joining GS? [Reply]
Let's hope that "Big Game" James Harden shows up for all the games in this year's version of the NBA Finals. Not sure that the Rockets can do it. I just hope that they do. And if they can't, no one can [Reply]

I think you're forgetting that there is another force In the East, and they are called the Philadelphia 76ers. Anyone who watched our series against Boston without biased eyes would know that we could, and perhaps SHOULD have won the series. They just happened to have every stroke of luck go their way and we didn't. They can have the hype and accolades right now, but you better believe we will be giving them one hell of a battle for supremacy In the east for many years to come.
Lebron, George and Kawhi are all linked to the sixers right now!!..and there's a chance we could even get two of those names this summer. IF we do, then it's a wrap for Boston. Brad Stevens or no Brad Stevens. [Reply]

You lost 4-1 while getting the benefit of every ref call, mostly because your young and inexperienced team choked repeatedly in the closing minutes, and because Stevens ran circles around your coach.

Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward say "hi".
I look forward to 10 years of battling it out with the Sixers though. Cs/Sixers rivalry has been renewed, and barring injuries or something freaky, the two should be serious contenders to win the East for the next decade. [Reply]
