Missouri running back Tyler Badie is named one of three finalists for the Doak Walker Award. Other finalists, Iowa State’s Breece Hall and Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker III
Just kept biding his time and putting in the work. And he's been rewarded for it in a big way.
Dude's gone for 350 yards against 2 SEC opponents the last two weeks. He needs 200 yards in the game against Arkansas and the Bowl combined to set Mizzou's all-time single season rushing record (Devin West - 1,578 in 1998).
I wouldn't bet against him. 250 puts him past Henry Josey into 6th all-time and only spending 3 years behind Mizzou's 2nd all-time leading rusher (Larry Three Sticks) kept him from having a shot at the top spot.
He's the kind of guy you point to if you're Mizzou and trying to build a program that can occasionally compete with the piles of 4 and 5 star monsters that UGA and 'Bama are putting out there. [Reply]
