I mean goddamn this conference seems wrapped up doesn’t it? Not trying to jinx us but it really seems like injuries are our biggest opponent at this point.
The Ravens are fucking frauds. They’re a warm up for us. We literally made these guys look like the JV squad the last 2 meetings.
And sure the Bills and Titans may make us work for the win, but in all honesty we have to play pretty goddamn shitty to lose to those guys.
In order to have any shot at beating us you need 3 things:
1. Elite pass rush
2. Top 10 QB capable of making critical plays
3. Overall talented roster
Steelers are the only team in the AFC that has those 3 things, and even them it’s not like they’re some serious threat like the Patriots a couple years back, but they seem like the best of the rest.
I think at this point it would be disappointing for this team to not get to the SB 3 straight times.
We’re just that good, and we keep drafting well and get better and better. [Reply]
The Chiefs have a better shot at the 1 seed now than they did at this time last year IMO.
I know the Steelers remaining schedule doesn’t look very tough, but they’re a team that should’ve/could’ve lost a game or two to some awful teams with trash QB’s already. Now they’re running out of steam and dropping like flies. They haven’t had a bye week since like week 4. Unless you think they’re going to blow the Redskins, Colts, Bills, and Browns out, the law of averages says they’re due to lose a close game or two. [Reply]

I think they'll blow the WFT and Browns out. That leaves the Colts and Bills. [Reply]

If not for the zebras they would have lost to Dallas with a 47th string QB. [Reply]
I don't think the Titans formula is SB-capable, if that's what you mean.
They gave us a helluva playoff game last year, we had to fight for every yard on both sides of the ball... without Mahomes it could've easily been a loss, that formula is capable IMO
If you can beat a defense up with a power run game, and run deep shots off it along with a stingy defense... it wins games [Reply]

I know.
Again, I'm not worried about the Chiefs beating the Steelers.
I'm just not keen on having to play an extra playoff game but right now, I think it's pretty much a given that the Chiefs are going to be the #2 seed.
It's just a sad fucking shame because Pittsburgh doesn't even deserve the bye. All these people want to play the Steelers in the playoffs to exorcise some past demon but that's not going to happen. They're going to get the bye and then lose in the divisional round while we have to play 4 games and hope nobody gets hurt. [Reply]
Cynthia Frelund picks Steelers over Saints in SB LV. So Steelers pick 32, Saints 31 and Chiefs pick 30th - I completely disagree. I value her opinions but I do not believe the Chiefs would lose against the Steelers even in PITT for the AFCCG. I think it will be the Saints vs. Chiefs in Tampa Bay and Chiefs RUNITBACK. Just my .02 and gut feeling. Think PITT has a gauntlet in WFT, Bills at home, Colts and Browns. They will not go undefeated. Time for the Chiefs to win out and give it all! [Reply]

Actually the Titans game was the “easiest” win for the Chiefs during their postseason run last year.
Houston had the Chiefs down 24-0 and the 49ers led the Chiefs by 10 in the fourth quarter and intercepted Mahomes twice. [Reply]
