The original Bushwood thread is overflowing like Craig Stadler's FUPA.
Use this thread to discuss tournaments, swing thoughts, equipment, and golf deals.
I thought we could also use the OP to create a WITB for ChiefsPlanet members. I'll list a poster's name and put their sticks in a spoiler tag, so you can see what everyone is carrying. [Reply]

Leishman just ran out of gas. He played his ass off yesterday too. He was also making some pretty incredible shots. He came out of nowhere and was playing some really entertaining golf. The problem is that he just isn't quite that good and midnight was going to strike at some point.
You knew he wasn't winning a playoffs, with or without Oosthuizen.
Spieth was going to have to provide the sizzle. The damn shame of it is that ball that rattled off the stick and out. If that ball would've dropped and he followed it up with that put on 16 there's no doubt in my mind he'd have coasted in the playoff (if it even got there) and it would've been among the most legendary charges in golf history.
Instead it's just a couple of great shots that will be lost to time. [Reply]

I really hope he can make this, just to fuck over Azinger for him jinxing the balls off of every one who isn't Johnson.
*Edit* Goddammit.
Boring ass plodding fuck.
Credit to Johnson - he just went out there and Tim Duncan'd the field to death. That was as methodic a championship round as you'll see. I didn't stare at it all day, but I never saw him take/hit a tough shot. Then again, the course didn't seem to be lending itself to tough shots anyway. It didn't seem terribly taxing. [Reply]

St. Andrews without high wind is the easiest course in championship golf. Johnson hit two poor shots on 17 and didn't really pay much of a price for them. Oosthuizen hit two mediocre shots and ended up with the same score. That's golf, though. [Reply]
