We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
Everyone gets a chance to change my mind when the defensive philosophy isn't "look at the play. Think about it. Ask yourself, where should I be? Then ask yourself, where should my teammates be? Then, after you come to a conclusion, begin to run in a direction of your own choosing." [Reply]
Along with former #Colts RB Robert Turbin, the #Raiders also worked out RB Charcandrick West, source said. Both are in wait-and-see mode until after the draft [Reply]

So I checked into this and was told it’s either a sign that a Clark deal has been struck and is waiting to be announced... or it’s just some dumb error on the NFL’s part. Fingers crossed https://t.co/AKXByPt9BU

And if not that, then Mathieu/Lucas.
If we're going full blown youth movement/rebuild, then lets not waste time on never-will-be's and see what we have with these young guys in Watts/Lucas/Rookie.
If we're going Vet, (which it doesn't look like), then at least find a guy that can unseat Sorenson, and it doesn't appear that Boston is that guy. Otherwise, it's a wasted roster spot.
A 1 year $1.5M contract for Boston after the draft, assuming we've exhausted all other options and didn't land viable talent in the draft?
Sure. Whatever.
But hardly worth getting excited about, not a move worth doing NOW, and not a move that does anything to get this defense out of the cellar.
This is why Tre Boston isn't signing with the Chiefs...
Doesn’t mean much but Stats are beyond there! OBVIOUSLY!! The Players see it, the Fans see it, and are starting to question what’s going on. I like it, keep asking question. You’ll see what’s really up. 2 Prove It Deals.... What’s left to prove? Lol Bout to jump on Offense. Lol https://t.co/CLhw3epzlZ

Suh and PP are the only names I'd say are realistic for signing at this pt. Clowney is more suited for 3-4 and Frank has DV history, also Tre Boston would've been signed by now - clearly the Chiefs either do or don't see something w/ regards to TB. [Reply]
I don't blame him for speaking out but it's pretty obvious that he can't create any stability as a player, and I'm guessing he's a "team guy" until it's inconvenient. [Reply]
I don’t know how I’d feel though about paying $100M+ to two pass rushers though assuming Jones gets extended soon.
I’d rather balance those major contracts out with someone at corner maybe. If you can’t find one, whatever. But damn, I just don’t know how you efficiently build a roster with two $20M+ AAV pass rushers, a likely $40M AAV QB, and possibly a $20M AAV WR. [Reply]
