More trade news: The #Chiefs are deep in talks with the #49ers on a trade for star pass-rusher Dee Ford, sources say. Things have escalated and this could get done by the end of the night. Ford needs to work out a new contract with SF, which is a big piece of this.

Neither of those players have had multiple years of near zero production. Neither of those players have had more bad years than good years.
There’s such a thing as acceptable risk. Dee Ford’s risk isn’t acceptable. It doesn’t matter what position he plays. [Reply]

It will be slotted in the same position if KC wins -0- games in the 2019/20 season. [Reply]

1. Get best QB in the world
2. Run a plug-and-play defensive system
3. Let players go early rather than late.
4. Pick and choose on the FA market
......?

Neither of those players were changing positions when they entered the league. And neither of those guys played behind two former All-Pro's when they entered the league either. [Reply]
