Nzoner's Game Room>Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?
pr_capone 03:05 AM 11-17-2013
Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

What kind of box mod would you recommend? I was thinking about following your suggestion from post #1030.

I don't want to use anything but the coils you buy separately that are self-enclosed, not custom stuff.

I really like the Sigelei boxes. Simple, durable and utilitarian. You just have to decide if you want a built in battery and what kind of range (wattage) you are looking for.

Can't agree more. I have the 100w (Listo has the 100w+) and love the battery life I get from x2 18650s. My recommendation: external batteries. If your batts go bad they cost $8-10 to replace. If your internal battery goes bad in your mod? Time to get a new mod.

I am eyeballing the Sigelei 150w; it's running for $82 after a quick search. I could probably find it cheaper with a little work

That's a good idea!

Alright, I want recommendations for tanks that do well in extended use without the atomizer clogging up.

I know switching it out is not a big issue, but I would like to find a tank that can make it through being used for like 20+ fill ups and still have a solid pull off it.

Maybe I'm being unrealistic and it's not possible with how the current setup of how the vaporizer technology is used currently.

?

On how big of a tank? Mine is 5 Ml and the Atlantis (version 2) atomizers will plow through 14+ refills. In fact I change them more often than I need to because I accidentally ordered them twice so I have plenty laying around. I'm going through 5 Ml easy per day (sometimes much more on a day off) and changing about once every two weeks or so.

I 2nd the Atlantis V2 coils. .5 ohm. They last about 2 weeks before needing changed with most juices. Using The Milkman eliquid I was changing them out every 3 or 4 days, but The Milkman is notorious for clogging coils up.

Now I just started on some liquid that supposedly doesnt degrade coils at all, but Im only a day in using them so I cant confirm that yet, AND you have to be a fan of tobacco flavors because thats all they make. The flavoring is extracted tobacco itself, no other additives. https://www.blacknote.com/store/

Now, if the claims are true that they dont degrade coils then their lineup will be what I buy going forward because the flavor is really good.

Oh man. They have a Cavendish blend. I don't want to spend $30 for 30 Ml though.

Mine is red. Loving it. The top fill on the Triton tank is one of my favorite things about it. That and it hits like a freight train.

I have had my Coolfire IV since they were first released with a billow v2 attached. Vaping at .5 and I Love it. The brass is starting to show though the silver on the coolfire. I would definitely buy another one. I am currently eyeballing the Presa 40w as the Coolfire replacement.

Anyone using a tank that uses Atlantis style coils (.5 ohm) should check these out. http://www.vapingmall.com/amigo-itsu...l-5-ohm-5-pack Price is great for a 5 pack and they are simply better then Aspires coils.

I stumbled across them by accident by grabbing a cheap tank (the Donner). The tank is kind of ugly but performs well. After being impressed by the two coils it came with I purchased two more 5 packs to use in my Atlantis tanks. These coils outperform the Atlantis V2 coils for flavor by quite a bit.

also the company in the link ships out of N Carolina so you get your stuff fairly quick

Thank you for the link. At $5.24 for a pack of five atomizers, I couldn't find a better deal than that. I ordered four packs of five. Well worth the $24 (with S+H). I found a video review of the Donner Sub Ohm and I have isolated the part where the reviewer discuss the atomizer. It's interesting. Here you go:

I have an Aspire Nautilus. Great device, but I can't tell if I just get sick of flavors really really quickly, or if the coils just go bad really quickly. Either way, whenever I get a flavor I like, it only lasts for a day or two before it starts tasting really off. That's the only thing that stops me from using it full-time and completely quitting cigs. As of now, it has helped me cut down my cigarette use by 50%.
