I don't understand the need to cancel entire sports seasons. Certainly they'd need to be played with no fans, but with the small number of people actually involved on the field, there should be plenty of ability to test and trace and keep everyone safe. They did it in Europe, all their soccer leagues were able to finish the season and they didn't have any outbreaks.
I think this makes more sense for other sports baseball, soccer, basketball etc have so fewer people. But football teams are massive and the support system needed to make them run on the ground is massive. [Reply]
