Yes, I did watch week-to-week. I've been on record a number of times in the TWD thread on liking the slower episodes. I think it's important to build character so when they off someone, we actually care. I think Season 2 was totally about character building. We needed to get to know these characters so that we're invested in their futures.
I agree. Walking Dead is weird in that sense. Sometimes they botch a character development episode so badly, like this season with Beth. Other times they nail it like Michonne. They really need a showrunner that has a vision from start to finish, otherwise it will always be this inconsistent mess. Hell, look at the governor, they spent 2 episodes humanizing him (which I loved) only to have him revert back to being the psychopath we have always known him to be. [Reply]
IMHO, this show just keeps getting better and better. Well written and the acting is really sensational - especially the last episode. Not sure where is going - but for pure acting and writing - worth watching - don't give up early. [Reply]
