Only things I did not like are basically nit picks, and did not effect my overall movie going experience:
Spoiler!
Claire runs around the whole movie in her high heels--I mean really? Near the end there is a shot of her shoes, and she is running from the T-REX in heels.
The other thing that bugged me was the pod the kids were in.....once they got off the path...there was no way to automatically recall the pod? Anyone could have basically taken a pod on that ride for a joyride.
Saw it on a big screen with thumping sound...definitely the best way to see it. [Reply]
It was ok. I went to see it just because I figured the tech/IMAX/CGI would be much better now and the dinosaurs would look cooler than the other movies.
I like Pratt...guy's a fast rising star in Hollywood...another reason why I paid to see it.
Spoiler!
Jurassic World still uses the ol' "Hey let's hide behind the car, they won't see us" in the film. Kinda silly. The love/hate relationship Pratt and the raptors had w/ each other wasn't done very well.
But whatever...I guess I enojoyed it for a PG-13 movie. Movie would be badass if it was rated r. [Reply]

Granted, it had a lot of corniness in it. But I figured that going in. Just a fun summer movie. Nothing too deep
I'm sure the honest trailer guys will have fun tearing it apart.
Oh, it's going to make a ton of money. It was a big 'audience participation' movie at my screening. My kids loved it and the audience ate it up. [Reply]

Hollywood's interpretation of hackers will always be flawed. No one wants to see a fat guy living in his mom's basement watching code scroll on his screen while he waits six months for his pc to crack a password, rinse/repeat, until they get to their honey pot...
That being said, the Jurassic Park movies have never had great stories, just dinosaurs doing shit. This movie looks to be good old fashioned harmless summer fun. Going to the drive in to see it tonight. [Reply]
