Be good to yourself and spend a lot of money on these 3 things: a comfortable mattress, an excellent desk chair and good quality shoes. Your back and feet will thank you for it. [Reply]

Whatever you're going to be wearing regularly. I'm currently rocking Ted Baker black leather shoes for office days and 2 pairs of timberlands for everyday wear. [Reply]

What kind of monocle and top hat do you wear? [Reply]

You forgot one other thing upon which you should spend a lot of money: quality tires. They connect your car to the pavement. Get good tires for where you live, i.e., rain tires for Pacific NW, all-weather/snow for high elevations or northern climates, tires that resist dry rot in the desert. [Reply]
Be scam aware. If you're called by a person purporting to be from your bank do not give them any personal details or passcodes, no matter how convincing they sound. Scammers can also spoof their phone number so the caller will show on your mobile as being from "Bank of America" for example. Simply hang up and contact your bank via official channels which should be on their website. Quite obvious to most of us, but I know a few folks who have been had in this way. [Reply]
