Let's make a thread to shit talk and talk in general about this fantasy football season.
I myself have a hard time locating some good research materials and for one, don't want to spend a shit ton of time on it. By making this thread, I am actually spending more time on this fantasy football season than I usually do.
I have printed off some depth charts for WR and RB, which I think will help with the live draft and choosing players in mid to late rounds.
Anything else you guys keep handy for the live draft?

I have the Steelers defense as well.
Well, the one week you KNOW you will use your backup defense the Bucs play the Saints. I don't love that matchup. The Bucs are a very good defense though, so I might still think about picking them up if they are on the waiver wire.
I don't actually love the Steelers either.. they finished in the bottom half of the defenses last year in my scoring format. I think they live on name only at this point, especially since the Steelers blow everyone out and the other team tends to get more points against them just because they have to.
I would consider, or at least keep watching, the Jags defense. No one is talking about them, since they are shrugging off the first game as Houston is that bad. The Jags got TEN sacks.. TEN! Recovered three fumbles, an interception, and scored. That is not just a bad opponent, that is excellent defensive play as well. They are a very good, athletic defense at all levels, and are finally getting competent coaching it seems. And the Jags are going to be running much more this year, which will shorten games and keep scoring low. I think they end up a top five defense by the end of the year. ( NOTE: I am not a Jags fan at all.. but I was forced by local TV and Irma to watch the game last weekend. )
Jags play the Bengals on the Steelers bye week. [Reply]

Jags aren't available. I have them in my other league.
I think that defenses, unless something major happens, can be evaluated by past performance ( I know, I know.. the Jags.. but I think enough changed there to merit the re-evaluation. )
Just looking at how they ranked over the last two years, these are the best defenses from your list. Note: This only includes defensive plays, not special teams.
1. Eagles
2. Steelers (only team on the list that got worse last year, from #8 to #15 by my scoring)
3. Giants
4. Bucs
Giants and Bucs both finished very good last year ( #4 and #7 by my scoring ).
The Giants get the Rams on the Steeler's bye week. [Reply]
Need opinions on this trade proposal. I'm thinking of accepting it even though the players I'll be giving up outscored what I'll be receiving in week 1.

This is a standard scoring PPR league.
I'm giving up...
Terrance West
Ty Montgomery
I'm getting...
Brandin Cooks
Isaiah Crowell
Hell yes I would... Crowell is an upgrade from West in my book (who is sharing snaps with Buck Allen), Cook still has a chance to be a legit WR1, and I worry about Montgomery holding up to the hits.
The players had some unusual setups in terms of the game flow week 1.. I think you are clearly getting the better side of that trade. [Reply]

My choice is Wilson or Wentz. Tough call but Wilson is playing the 49ers and so I can only hope he kills them.
I think I would play Wentz. Last year Wilson averaged 250 yards, 1 TD, and no interceptions against the Niners. And it was very close to that each time, off only by like 10 yards.
I think the Niners may be so bad that Carroll just runs the ball. [Reply]

Should I trade him straight up for Zach Ertz? That's the best offer on the table.
I don't hate that trade at all. I don't think that Ertz is fool's gold. I like Diggs too actually, but already the talk of Bradford's knee being injured again is starting up. [Reply]
