I get a Cutlerian vibe from this guy. Seems to be built like a franchise QB. Powerful arm, some beautiful passes, perfect bodytype. But he is lacking an "it" factor, is he not? He's not a world-beating, overcome-the-odds, particularly spiriting QB. Looks like he could have an okay career in the NFL in which he wins nothing of consequence.
Well if there was one Andy Reid QB in this entire draft, it's Trubisky, isn't it? Super accurate, doesn't take too many risks with the ball, is very mentally tough and very athletic. He's a slam dunk for the Chiefs to trade up for, if he lasts to the 20s, but in a QB-starved NFL with at least 6 new head coaches looking for their QB, there's no chance he lasts to us. [Reply]

If you watched Lynch though, it was very clear that he has some rare traits. A guy that big, who can move that fluidly who also has a huge arm... if he reaches his ceiling it will be bad news for the NFL.
If you have not invested heavily in the infrastructure required to develop a young QB, this 2017 draft is not for you. At least not at top.
This pretty much nails it. Yes you need infastructure for all QB's but some guys can manage it well like Carson Wentz.
We've got a top 10 roster ready for someone to step right in. [Reply]

Peterman had a strong Senior Bowl week, and in my study of his film I've seen accuracy, poise, instincts and a good enough arm to make pro-level throws across the field. What the scout meant by "Dak-like," though, isn't that he'll lead a team to a playoff run as a rookie. More likely he means a franchise can grab a starter outside the first two rounds. And Peterman can be that if he slips to the third round.
Kizer is my #1 QB. Has similarities to McNabb, good pocket awareness, and scans the entire field. Played on a pretty bad ND team this past season.
Watson is my #2. He's a gamer and should be able to blossom into a quality NFL starter with a bit of time behind a veteran QB.
The rest are just the rest to me. I see why some like Mahomes but he is overly raw and would need a lot of time to sit and learn. He looks to leave the pocket at a moments notice and is too reliant on the spread O/jailbreak backyard style for my liking. Trubisky doesnt have enough experience or tape for me to have an opinion. Webb, Kaaya, Peterman, etc are all 3rd round guys at best IMO. [Reply]
Doesn't matter. USC QB is not in this draft and USC QB will go #1 overall when he declares if he stays on current ascent. Not anything KC or DEN should concern themselves with. Certainly not going to wait on a QB hoping that you suck so fucking bad you have a shot at him. [Reply]
Casserly say's there are no legit 1st rdrs this year and a handful of teams will get burned because of their need pushing these guys up from actual 3rd to 4th rd actual talent. Is he correct ?? [Reply]
