This is correct. In sub 1.00 stocks it is usually done because the company is trying to avoid the Nasdaq delisting rule that you have to be above 1.00 for a certain amount of time. Usually a penny stock that is going to be diluted over and over and over again until it goes bust.

Hedgies know that the longer they can keep it down the more people start getting nervous and start selling off. I've had those feelings too as I hate to see 300% gains vanish but I'ma do my best to ride it out. I'm just afraid there's going to be a trigger point and then a steep drop if it hits say $40 but I really don't think thats going to happen.

51 was the low threshold if it would have stayed below it we would have more then likely lost but I think we'll be fine now. Going to squeeze soon

Thanks to all who weighed in. I knew that movement had to be abnormal. I didn't get out at the top of the run, but got out at 6.08. Not too shabby for an "oh, what the hell" lottery ticket.

AAPL had been nice. I scaled out more at 140 Friday. Leaving 1/3 of original position to run by moving stop to previous day’s low until I’m stopped out.
