According to two sources with knowledge of the movie, Warner Bros. intends to announce the news at its Comic-Con International panel Saturday morning. Said a Warner Bros. spokesperson, “We don’t comment on rumors regarding these properties.”
“Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder is expected to reunite with screenwriter David S. Goyer and star Henry Cavill for the new film. It’s unlikely Christian Bale will step back into the bat suit, as the actor has indicated publicly that he has moved on from his days as Bruce Wayne.
“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.
The move marks the culmination of years of effort on the part of Warner Bros. and DC Comics to bring their superheroes together in a similar fashion to their primary competitor Marvel, which successfully combined its superheroes into a $1.5-billion box-office hit with “The Avengers.”
In the comic world, the two heroes are teaming up in a new series, “Batman/Superman,” by writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.
Don't think I'm going to watch it. Half the internet says it shows too much. That's one thing Nolan and J.J. Abrams do very well... make good teasers without totally ruining the movie. [Reply]

It feels like a rushed response to the trailer for Civil War.
Marvel has been playing Alpha on this since the beginning. Starting with scheduling Civil War over the original release date for BvS. [Reply]

Yeah it should have ended about 45 seconds sooner. The reveals at the end totally kill any tension that the movie is going to spend two hours trying to get you to believe may exist. [Reply]
Guess it's Doomsday. That sucks. He looks terrible, more spikes Snyder!
Right when I heard Jesse Eisenberg at the party... good god, farthest thing away from Lex that you can get. I know it's his son but he sounded like an interior decorator.
They showed WAY to much. WAYYYYY too much.
Also at the end, Batman holding a gun? A rifle/shotgun? Ugh. We now know everything about the movie, there's no surprises anymore.
Also Gravelly voiced Affleck is better than Bale but not much.
Good parts were Eisenbergs line about psychotic being a three syllable word and the "She with you? I thought she was with you." [Reply]
Looks like that is a nightmare scene for Bruce, no way they put Doomsday and Darkseid in this. More than likely a prelude, similar to Thor's water vision crap in Avengers 2. [Reply]
