I think Nicky needs to go back to the type of hitter we saw in the minors. He's starting to get pull happy as he wants to gain some power. He's just not that type of player. He tried to gain weight, he's rolling over and now he's striking out much more.
Play to your strengths kid. Get your walks. Slap at the ball. Get those garbage singles I don't care. [Reply]

Royals are gonna try to get these young arms through their 1,000 mile break-in period this season, aren't they?
This is the first im hearing of this and im so excited now! He's my favorite out of the bunch. Im actually really surprised that they'd call up Bubic and not Lynch or Kowar, since he's the youngest of the 3.
Edit*
Where did you see this because I dont see it anywhere? [Reply]

It's out in the wild, for sure.
Alec Lewis (Royals writer for the Athletic) is the first I saw to say it, MLBTraderumors and Rotoworld had now reported it as well as has Prospect365.

Frank White's gotta be in there somewhere. Maybe at the top. His peak stands up to anyone short of maybe Cain and his duration exceeds all of them. [Reply]

He’s trolling. Probably something about White’s political career diminishing him. [Reply]
I don’t remember White doing anything all that spectacular when I was a kid. Chico Lind was better to me. Rewatching the 1985 playoff games last month reinforced that, solid, never made a mistake but....no wow factor for me [Reply]
