We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
There are still several players that would be good FA signings for the Chiefs.
1. LB Zach Brown
2. DL Rodney Gunter
3. Edge/LB Brennan Scarlett (RFA original tender and undrafted)
4. TE Maxx Williams [Reply]

Sounds like TE will be addressed through the draft. We could use another safety tho and edge rusher [Reply]

I still maintain that Maxx Williams sucks.
Someone here is hard up on grabbing that dude and willing to pay pretty well for it. I think he's as fungible as they get and but/for the guy's draft status he might not even be in the league anymore.
I'd flip him a minimum deal because SOMEBODY needs to take the roster spot but I'd do it in a manner where he's pretty easy to cut if someone passes him on the depth chart. Because invariably someone will. [Reply]
(of goods contracted for without an individual specimen being specified) able to replace or be replaced by another identical item; mutually interchangeable.

Living in Baltimore, I got to see him weekly. He is literally the definition of a blocking tight end. His route running was terrible. He’s fine for a backup. But I would rather see this addressed through the draft. Use one of our 2nds for a good one. [Reply]

You'd have to think something else is coming. Otherwise, why backload Honey badger's deal with only $6 million this year? Why not just designate Eric Berry a regular cut (not post-June 1st) and bite the bullet with the entire cap hit this year? If not much else is coming Veach's moves this offseason make little sense. Strange that Zach Brown hasn't appeared to drum up much interest, after a really pretty good year. And in the last contract, he ended up getting about 5.75 million annually. That would not be a bad contract at all. [Reply]
