We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

it's definitely not price. guess he's a giant pos of a human being.
He's not free. Factor in the opportunity cost from his cap consuming new contract and the pick that will be spent on him. Again, I'd do it if we lost Hill but it's not the 'no brainer' you think it is. [Reply]

He's not free, but isn't going to be cost prohibitive either IMO.
Realistically, this organization has a two year window. Once we start spending $35M a year on the QB position, we're gonna need to be damn near perfect everywhere else. Draft, FA, etc.
Throw all of your chips in the middle of the table to win a championship NOW. [Reply]
Think the Chiefs haven't signed a free safety to keep their options open in the draft. What if they sign Boston for $5m and then the BPA on the board at 29 is clearly a safety?
I think they probably see how the board falls and make a move quickly after the draft to plug any remaining holes.

Surely still have to add a linebacker?
There are plenty of options they could take at 29.
I’d be content if they drafted a FS safety with either their first or one of their second rounders and let him complete out with Lucas and Watts. [Reply]

100% this.
This is supposed to be the Super Bowl or bust, go all in offseason and hopefully all of these rumors about pending big moves will actually happen.
So far Veach has done well acquiring draft capital and freeing up salary cap space. I thought maybe he could have gotten more in return for Dee Ford, and he was apparently unlucky in almost signing Earl Thomas with the Ravens unexpectedly coming in at the last minute.
This next month is about swinging for the fences, Veach. [Reply]

This offense would set records that might not ever get broken and Veach can go all defense in the draft.
After drafting Hock/Fant of course...
Whether you add Green or not, at best the offense will be just as good as last year. Remember it was a historically good offense with an MVP season from Mahomes. [Reply]
