We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

It’s always a fine line restricting constitutional guaranteed rights. Free speech but you can’t yell fire in a crowd etc.

I’m not worried about this situation compared to the precedent that would be set. We all agree that it’s at least a crisis. What about the next president? What if they say we have a “crisis” and we need to take away “X” constitional rights?

There isn't going to be any confidence in the market or economy when people are getting sick and hospitals are having issues. People not going to work because they're sick. Staying home until they know it's safe to go outside, not going to restaurants, movies, etc. Life isn't going back to normal until this thing is licked.

It sucks, but we chose this path when we decided to not get ahead of this thing. That's just how it goes.

This thing is hitting close to home. My wife's daughter has tested positive for it. She went to the hospital and then was sent home to quarantine.

I took groceries over to my 77-year-old dad today so he wouldn't have to get out. Then I took him some Taco Bell he requested. Sam's Club was stripped bare, as was Cash Savers and Save a Lot. No TP to be had at all. No peanut butter or hamburger either. Crazy days!

There's seemingly a new super-virus every flu season.

With our newly found awareness/fear, i expect some sort of freak out every year moving forward.

So naaaah. Not willing to set some Draconian precedent for what likely will become a yearly freak out.

For the majority of the "working age and younger" crowd this virus poses very little risk. And it's now sounding like an effective treatment may have been found which plunges the risk even lower. If that is the case, then we need to get people back to work and fast.

Come on, brother. The last pandemic we had was in 2009.

I'm as excited as anyone about the cloriquine treatment, but we need to pump the brakes.

We'll have answers soon enough.
