In the comics, Negan and his group use zombies as a deterrent by stringing them up around their complex. I'm thinking this is a version of that practice.

Hmmm. How does that connect with the stringing up of the walker by the Alexandria guys? [Reply]

After that speech Rick can't just back down and say "my bad."
The show is doing a great job of being new and unpredictable by following the comics just enough and then taking a sharp left turn...
They are obviously going to exile Rick. I think or at least hope we start learning more about the secrets of Alexandria. The W stuff needs to be explained as it's been 4 shows now with no real explanation. Also I think Daryl isn't going to be thrilled about what's going on with the way they are treating Rick. [Reply]

I could see the group splitting - some leave with Rick and some stay only for them to beg him back later.
The first time the walkers or some f'ed up humans show up at the door they'll be begging for more than a tough talking politician... [Reply]
This season has easily been the best season so far. I love how they're sticking to the comics with certain things (Rick and Pete through the window, Michonne knocking out Rick) and how they're also separating themselves from the comics a bit to keep us on our toes.
Anybody have any interesting theories about the 'W'?
Spoiler!
Maybe it's Morgan? M/W?
Maybe it's Negan and his band of Saviors?
Maybe it's Derick and the Scavengers?
I'm thinking it's probably Derick and a play on the "big bad wolf" line from the comics.

And the leader of Alexandria is clearly different than the comix and not just her sex. Rick's story in the TV Alexandria will be much more difficult.
And they're lucky Daryl wasn't there. That fight would have ended with an arrow in the wife beater's skull... [Reply]
I fear that the writers will kill Daryl off. Not show much as a scare tactic or ratings grab type of thing, but as a way to show that nobody is safe.
With him not being in the comic, I truly have no f'ing idea. [Reply]
I'm going to go ahead and admit this - the show is losing steam with me, and I don't have a real good explanation as to why. And it appears from the conversations on here that the only ones still loving it are the ones that are the avid comic followers.
As an avid comic reader - it's exciting because I know how many things are coming and what to look forward to. But, at the same time, it's not always following the comics. [Reply]
