I hooked up HBO Go and started re-watching the series.
I hadn't realized how much I missed Tywin Lannister and Robb Stark.
Something that stood out: on the ship after they leave Qarth, Jorah says to Daenerys: "The Dothraki honor strength above all. You'll have a true khalasar when you prove yourself strong and not before".
When asked why they didn't show Stannis's death the producers said it wasn't neccessary to show the gore WTF? Did they watch their own show? You just set a kid on fire and we listening to the screams. Showed flayed bodies. Heads getting sliced open etc. Sounds like BS. [Reply]
"I see a darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes you'll shut forever. We will meet again."

Any theories on what that means?
Allusion to the many faced god and his devotees' abilities to change their identities? Eyes you'll shut forever could refer to the people she will kill? [Reply]

That's what it sounds like to me. Arya will wear many faces as a faceless man, and she will kill people. The idea that they will meet again is very interesting. I can't see Melisandre leaving Westeros when it is ground zero for the Others. So does that mean Arya will return? I certainly hope so, and I hope she reunites with Nymeria and wrecks shit! [Reply]
I would say it's because she's blinded, but in the books she regains sight correct? And yes the eye color is more than likely about her becoming "nobody" [Reply]

Maybe we'll get a Greyjoy reunion with Theonreek, Asha(Yara?), and Victarion. Maybe they'll recast Yara, for the books made her out to be just drop dead gorgeous, and the live action version just isn't. Not really a knock on her, just not what I expected. [Reply]
