So why is Louisiana and Bama getting hit so hard with this thing? Just seems like a strange place for it to grow so rampant.

Currently 98% of active cases are mild. Still running at about 1.25% deaths\total cases.

Hopefully over the course of this week start seeing a bit of a slowing in new cases. Also I think it's safe to speculate that over the next week we should start seeing a rise in official recoveries.

I figure they are probably testing only people with enough symptoms to warrant a visit to a testing center , so less people are getting ill , not saying it’s a fact but maybe a glass half full way of looking at it. I try not to focus on things I can’t control.
