I’ve not watched all the games. Games I watch I fast forward through a lot. That said, what I’ve seen Gorman has been an acceptable 2nd baseman. [Reply]
So I have been hearing that the Tampa Bay Rays are interested in Jack Flaherty and Jordan Montgomery.
What would you all want in return for such a trade? [Reply]

They have a loaded system.
The problem is that they're MUCH smarter than we are. If they have someone they're willing to give up, you should probably look elsewhere. They know more about their players than we know about ours, that's for damn sure.
They have so much IF depth but honestly that's the one area that we're in okay shape in. Then again, Caminero, Mead and Manzardo aren't guys you get for the Flaherty/Montgomery rentals of the world.
Let's swap Mongtomerys - Jordan for Mason. [Reply]
Mo said it's all about pitching, pitching, and more pitching at the trade deadline. He needs to get best player available and use that as a bargaining chip elsewhere, if needed. [Reply]

Montgomery and Flaherty pitching well lately should boost their value. We should get solid players for them. [Reply]

But we must understand that Mozeliak has nothing to fear because he’s protected by DeWitt. And Marmol has nothing to fear because he’s protected by Mozeliak. And DeWitt has nothing to fear because he owns the team.
What a cozy, convenient arrangement this is.
And you wonder why there’s no accountability? [Reply]

Stop buying tickets and watching games. Only thing that matters [Reply]

Doesn't matter - sellers market.
If you can't get THIS right, you serve truly no purpose. There are enough teams in contention that need SP that there's no excuse at all to not leverage a very strong return. [Reply]

What DJ said, sellers always do well at trade deadlines. Wellll except us. But, we have the best hand so they really have to fuck it up [Reply]

Mo hasn't shown the ability to make good decisions in the best of times, I have no confidence in his ability to make good decisions under pressure. [Reply]
