We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Free-agent nugget from NFL annual meeting: The Patriots are still in talks with free-agent DT Allen Bailey, who is also considering a return to the Chiefs. The 6-foot-3, 288-pound Bailey enters his 9th season in 2019. Would be a fit on interior alongside Lawrence Guy/Mike Pennel.

They don't seem to be interested in older players.
Everyone they've signed is young and under 30
Earl Thomas was allegedly ours until Baltimore swooped in. He will be thirty in May or June I believe.
I don't think they are against bringing in a guy who still has gas in the tank and is more of a vet. McCoy also possesses the same leadership qualities + player respect you see with ET.
Plus, I love the idea of Jones getting to play alongside another DT with a nose for the backfield. [Reply]

I think the Earl Thomas thing was because of how soft his market was at the time. The Ravens fucked that up. [Reply]

On a one year deal.
Sure if McCoy would sign something like that. [Reply]
Why hasn’t pass-rusher Ziggy Ansah signed yet? His agent said teams wanted more info about his surgically repaired shoulder. The plan is to wait until his 4-month appointment in mid-April to help determine his readiness. After the initial FA push, there’s no rush to sign now.

although personally i'm convinced you can find an impact guy at 29. drafts too deep, you can just go bpa.
I would, but only for a corner. I just don't think there's 32 guys worth taking in the first round, so if there was ever a year to dump off a late first....this would be it. [Reply]

This draft could set up well for us to trade back.
If one of the TE's falls on draft day we could be a good trading partner with a team trying to get ahead of the Patriots. [Reply]
“Is there reason for concern with the @Chiefs defense? Of course, but don’t sleep on Chiefs GM Brett Veach. He’s not sleeping. He’s not sitting on his hands. And I don’t think he’s done.” - @PSchragspic.twitter.com/MwdRINWnB1
The Patriots are still talking with Allen Bailey, per source, as @MikeReiss said. They have some competition- Chiefs and Panthers. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bailey make a decision this week.
