I figured I would create one location to house all of the breaking news, rumors, pessimism, despair, helplessness, frustration, and of course optimism leading up to the 2019 NFL Trade Deadline on:
Tuesday, October 29th @ 4:00p Eastern Time
3 weeks from today! We all have ideas of what the Chiefs need so I won't go into that, but hopefully this day will come and go with better results than last year for us. [Reply]
Yeah, and then you're hoping that a 33 year old CB coming off fractured ribs can play with no residual effects while learning a completely new scheme. I'm not optimistic. [Reply]

Which is why I’d rather trade for Jenkins. He knows the system. [Reply]

I’d think not
He's been toasted a lot this year. Not in the favor of the fan base that's for sure. He has gotten a few timely picks but while I don't know the stats, he sure seems to be struggling this year. I went to the Giants/Cardinals game last Sunday and he was running in circles a decent amount. [Reply]
Renting Ogletree and Jenkins wouldn't be the worst idea if it's a lower pick. They'd only cost us 7 million in cap this year since we're responsible for half of their base salary, right? [Reply]

That’s how I saw it, yeah. Although I think it’s around $9 million. $5 million for Jenkins and $4 million for Ogletree. [Reply]

Ogletree has a 4 million base for the entire year, I thought? That'd put it at 2 million we're on the hook for. [Reply]
