Jones should be the priority. There's just no substitute for his production. Except Aaron Donald, and last I checked he's not available and we can't afford him.
In a perfect world, Sammy would restructure his deal, and stay on board for 4-5 years for a homer discount. Call it 10 million/year. Do whatever financial magik necessary to still fit Jones and Pat under the cap.
Doubt that happens, and I hope Sammy gets his money. Only reason I hold out some glimmer of hope is what Sammy said about wanting to stay with Andy until he retires. Who knows what he'd be willing to take if that's a real factor for him. [Reply]

I think we can plug Hardman in as our #2, give more reps to Pringle. Maybe draft another guy this year. We'll be OK without Sammy. Somebody will pick up the slack. [Reply]
