Spoiler!
Old ass Niobe, OK. Don't give a shit about her. Someone on the ship is the grandchild of someone on the Nebuchadnezzar, cool. Also don't give a shit. The Indian chick who was the child program from the third one. **** you, don't care.
I was waiting the whole movie for Neo to remember how to use his powers and just lay waste. That moment never came, which sucks because that probably would have been pretty memorable. A few months from now I don't think there's a single scene from this movie that I will remember.
Spoiler!
had no idea why Merv was brought back. He was a parody of the original sequel. All it did for me was remind me how good the characters were in the matrix and how this iteration completely missed out on an opportunity to make the matrix more frightening, controlling etc.

Oh, I forgot about the Merovingian. I did actually chuckle a bit when they brought him in so I’ll give them that..
They really should have brought back Monica Bellucci though. She is so fucking fine.

She made the matrix reloaded, and again, the matrix itself was far more interesting. The reason why revolutions was bad as it was because it spent way too much time on Zion.

Also regarding Agent Smith in Ressurections:
Spoiler!
Its Mr Anderson, not TOM. WTF was that?
To be fair, that picture is probably 20+ yrs old.
Monica Bellucci is damn near 60 years old these days and has gotten pretty 'angular' as she's aged. I mean still a damn dime for being in her late 50s, but very clearly in her late 50s.
But yeah, it's about damn near impossible to be any hotter than she was in Malena. Late 90s/early 200s Monica Bellucci was pretty near perfection. [Reply]
One thing that really annoyed me was that anytime anyone made any reference at all to the original trilogy they would show a few seconds of old footage while continuing the dialogue. They couldn't even have the new version of Smith show up and belt out a catch phrase without showing original footage. And also they over explained every single little fucking thing. Bleh. [Reply]

100% agree.
I hate when movies beat you over the head. You can thank the normal movie viewing moron for that, though. They don’t pay attention or they are too stupid to understand. [Reply]

I'll just say: if you were expecting something groundbreaking on par with the original, dial back your expectations and you might enjoy it.
My only expectations are that the story will be covered in plot armor and the CGI will be terrific.
And those were my expectations before reading any comments. I don't mind dumb movies so long as they're visually appealing enough to capture the imagination. [Reply]
