That's what the band really looks like in the studio, not the album cover. :-)

I liked all of it except the solo breaks. It would have been perfect as a 3 minute song instead of a 5 minute one.

They have the staring straight at the camera move down.

1969 one of my favorite years for music.

Smith was a one hit wonder. Vocalist Gayle McCormick died in 2016 at age 67 from cancer.

Balloon Farm, named after a Greenwich Village club, I loved this song at the time.

One of the most catchy songs ever written.

Eddie Grant on guitar before Electric Avenue, 1968.

The Outsiders 1966 hit Time Won't Let Me reached #5 and the lead singer was Sonny Geraci.

In 1971 Sonny Geraci singing for the band Climax reached #3 with Precious and Few. Sonny died in 2017 at age 69 cause of death not given, he had a brain aneurysm in 2012 and was in poor health.

Sonny on a 2011 tour.

Liberty is the steadfast polestar which guides voyagers in life's stormy sea; it is the only guide to new worlds, new thoughts, new outlooks, a new order and a new life. The world, which cannot perish and which has the will to live, must always return to the paths of liberty; however many men deny and blaspheme it, be they few or many, they cannot change the law of the world.

Damn!! I remember the Rugby's. Went to High School with Mike Hoerni (their bass player). I loved the song "You, I" and it was a big hit in Louisville and around parts of the Midwest.

Thanks! I lost touch with Mike after I went into the Army and never met him again. Steve McNicol was the shits back in 66-67 considered one of the best guitar players at that time.
