So, I'm putting together the second half of the Left Eye print first. (Why? Because.) I just got to the credits. For the final battle I saw pretty much the stuff from the trailer, but before the final battle, at the splice points between reels, I did see what must be the equivalent of the King's Cross section; it showed Harry, without glasses, sitting on a white bench in a long bright white room with windows. Not sure they actually mention it as King's Cross but it was obviously the "waystation" when he was in between.
Also, after the final battle, the last reel before the credits started with an image of a young boy and a young girl with their luggage on the train platform--so it looks like they actually did the end of the book as it was written. Which would be cool.
I have a feeling the only things they might've messed with are:
- Snape's death scene (made it longer and more meaningful)
- final Harry/Voldemort battle (ditto)
- possibly who dies (since a lot of big-name characters get snuffed in the end of the book)

For some reason the theater isn't advertising the double feature.
Theater here didn't advertise it either. I've got my tickets. I had the option of seeing Part 2 in 2D or 3D, and I'm one of those dorks who chose 3D. Part 1 at 9pm, Part 2 premier at midnight. [Reply]

I've never seen any of these Harry Potter movies, but I have seen the previews in 3D and it looked alright, for being a Harry Potter movie anyway. I like 3D if it is not overdone. [Reply]

I'm just not into the 3D stuff regardless of movie. [Reply]
