So just got home and Ghostbusters (original) is on. Forgot just how funny this movie really was. Spit my bite of pizza out when Murray investigates Sigourney Weaver's apartment. Great stuff. [Reply]

Um, because it was not clever in any way shape or form? Because it was trying hard to be laugh a minute funny, and failed miserably? Because it was poorly constructed and felt like they were just making up all their lines? Because it had 4 gals who are otherwise very funny but they fucking sucked in this?
I mean, if you liked it fine I guess. I was excited about it...and then I saw it. What a piece of shit. Top that with all the "Oh, it's just a bunch of misogynists losers who live in their parents basement who hate it" crap after it flopped. No, people hated it because it was unfunny as hell. Fuck that movie.
I'm hoping this one is better, and it's a low bar for sure. [Reply]
As others pointed out, maybe not as funny as the oldies but its a good time nonetheless... Rudd was fine, but I actually thought the child actors outshined him
The end brought just a hint of a tear to the corner of my eye
Spoiler!
Of course it was fun to see the old stars swoop in to save the day, but kinda wished they'd have been involved sooner, also thought the ghost of Ramis was very well done
