Ware had 14 carries and mahomes had 38 pass attempts. [Reply]
I feel like this might be an attempt to answer all the blitzing we're probably going to see now that Baltimore showed it's probably the best option against Mahomes.
One thing that seems lacking to me is the hot reads. When he sees 5+ guys coming, Mahomes should be getting that ball out almost immediately a good % of the time. Maybe Benjamin can make a big target for fades or slants to get in front of defenders on hot routes. [Reply]

Except he was signed before the Baltimore game. I do agree but in general it's to help with the lack of run game to give us something to counter it, which of course can help with the quick pressure as well. [Reply]

Yup. I don't think the problem is hot routes... Though mahomes can get better (he's young and sees a lot of new shit every week). The bigger problem seems to be not having enough hot route options. Benjamin definitely helps us exploit parts of the field we couldn't before. I agree... For him lots of slants, underneath routes, fades or back shoulder throws. [Reply]
I didn't get to watch the entire game last night, so I was wondering how KB is fitting into the KC scheme. From what I did see, he doesn't seem to be much of a target. Has he started to get into sync with Mahomes? [Reply]
