If you look at Trevor Lawrence’s career at Clemson he has really only played in four games where the opposing team had comparable overall talent to Clemson.
In those four games, he looked great winning a NC as a freshman vs Alabama.
Last year he played average and his team beat Ohio State in the CFP semifinal and he played poorly in a loss to LSU.
