“If they trade him, trade talks would have to start with the Jets because the Jets are the only team that could guarantee them the second-best quarterback prospect in the draft, plus a whole lot more. Plus, they have four number ones in the next two years, and it would take at least four number ones to get Deshaun Watson.”
Like I’ve been trying to tell Broncos fans and RunKC... [Reply]
Dolphins have a chance as well if Caserio really values Tua as much as rumored. Then you've got the QB AND the draft capital to really make some moves. [Reply]
Although the scenario completely changes if the Texans go full retard, stubbornly refuse to trade him until after the draft and we're almost to kickoff, and Watson isn't bluffing and actually refuses to play ever again for the Texans. Then it's up in the air for whoever. [Reply]
The Jets and Miami are still the most logical, but man if I'm Jerry Jones, there is nothing I wouldn't do to get Watson. Can you imagine what he would be worth to Jerry? [Reply]
It’s going to be really, really hard to beat whatever deal Miami or the Jets might be able to put up. If they’ll both give up extra 1s (and they will), then teams like Denver or Carolina will have to give up and insane package that is highlighted by some proven players.
I still think Denver would have to include someone like Chubb, Jeudy, maybe even both. It’s the only way you’re going to trump extra unproven top draft picks that the Dolphins or Jets can provide. [Reply]

Yup that’s exactly what I was going to post. They would probably have to give up three 1’s, two 2’s and both of those players to compete with offers.
Either way they’re fucked. Cool, you got Watson! But you gave up key pieces and your future to do it [Reply]
He said that when the troubles with Watson first surfaced. He's on record as saying that he really doesn't know now how it's going to turn out now. Heard him say just that myself the week of the Super Bowl. [Reply]

Jeudy did not look like the can't miss star everyone said he was going to be.. So I doubt he holds up any deal. The key is if Houston's brain trust likes Lock. Think they are going to want a QB or a pick they know they can get a QB with. Doubt Denver's 1st is high enough to get a guy to sell the fan base with.
Really I think The Texans will call with Watson bet and see if he is willing to fake injury tank games unless the Jets or Phins throw a can't refuse package at them. Which they might. [Reply]

Jeudy needs a better QB, I don’t think he and Lock’s games fit each other well. There aren’t many receivers who can get by without good, accurate passers. Jeudy excels at getting open but not sure he’s ever going to be a monster at the catch point/in contested situations. [Reply]
