The lightning player looks to have a straight shot at the goalie for a goal and the Canadians player grabs him around the neck and pulls him off the puck. That doesn’t seem to be in rule book. But, no penalty. [Reply]
Too bad the Knights got a free pass by playing the injury riddled Avalanche... would have been a different series with EJ, Byram, and throw in Kadri; and perhaps a far better match up for the Finals. [Reply]
Seriously though, after tonight's snoozefest, I'm kind of glad hockey is over for now... Lightning are a great team, glad they've gotten over the hump a couple of times now. [Reply]

Kinda makes you wonder how Yzerman feels after building that team then going to Detroit where so far nothing has gone right. [Reply]

He knew what he was getting into in Detroit. While his name isn't on the Cup for Tampa, it should be. He built that team. [Reply]

Yea I mean I grew up a Wings fan, I understand why he went back but he was literally left nothing...if he turns that around it'll be more impressive than his playing career. [Reply]

I hear you. I've understood all his moves so far. Except not firing Blashill. That one baffles me. My only guess is Yzerman thinks the roster is so inept that nobody could coach them better. The problem is none of the younger players have developed well under Blashill. [Reply]
