Was it 2006 where the Chargers went 14-2 and got knocked out of the playoffs by the Pats? How would Marty Shottenheimer's career be viewed today if he had taken that team to the SB? Hell, that game changed the trajectory of the Chargers and they never have fully recovered even 13 years later. [Reply]

Knowing Marty, even if we somehow beat the Pats, we'd have just choked in the AFC title game anyway. [Reply]

The saddest part is that brady and bill will cry that they are being persecuted and use it as motivation. Fuck them to hell. I hope for once the league has balls and makes them sit out the playoffs. But they won't. [Reply]

"Nobody believed in our 13-3 team!"
"They hate us 'cause they ain't us!"
"Goodell hates the Patriots!"
"Brady is the GOAT!"
Get ready for another year of that nonsense. :-) [Reply]
They suspended the people just doing their job, but not knowing how to do their job? I’m satisfied, nobody wants to make a mountain out of a molehill here. Surely this was a one time mistake.
I wouldn’t even bother asking for all the footage filmed for each episode. [Reply]
With the history of this team this incident needs to have some serious consequences. Obviously past punishments haven't been enough to detour them from cheating. [Reply]

Brady has played in 13 AFC Championship games.
and cities too. I'm convinced San Diego, Oakland and St. Louis would still have their teams if not for them. [Reply]

That's the worst of it. The Patriots get better when they're being persecuted. Imagine a team that gets their jollies off of cheating, then using that as motivation to get better. [Reply]
