Shevchenko wasn't very impressive either, so I was indifferent on the decision. I think this is one of those things where if its close, the judges are just going to lean towards the champ. [Reply]

Someone bigger and more bad will be champ in 2 years.
The CSAC has officially overturned the bout between DC and Jon Jones to a No Contest. Because of that, the UFC has reinstated DC as the UFC LHW Champion. [Reply]

Its been a mix.
His initial reaction was (understandably) defensive, saying Jon Jones cheated, its like a NC from an illegal blow, of course the title should go back to him. After a bit later I think he was a bit more open and honest in regards to questions to whether the title should be vacant, saying he earns a lot more money as champion than he does without the belt, and so for his family, if the UFC is offering him back the title, he has to accept it. (My own opinion, if a championship bout is later declared a no contest for any reason, I believe the belt should always go back to the champion since the Athletic Commission is effectively saying that a legal, official title fight never occurred)
More recently he's tried to be more magnanimous, saying to lay off Jon Jones, let the process play out, and he's just looking forward to his next fight. [Reply]
"Shogun" Rua is out of the main event this weekend, but good news: Okami is back!
He's gonna get fucking wrecked because he's small even for a middleweight, but I assume the UFC is going to let him stay on in exchange for agreeing to take a last-minute beating in front of his own fans.
Okami was a cool fighter to watch and a longtime gatekeeper in the MW division before the UFC cut him. [Reply]
