We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
Allen Bailey had done jack squat his entire career. He broke out in 2014 (last year of his rookie deal) and then signed a pretty fair extension with no offseason hassle (happened during the year).
There's always a chance for redemption. If Kpass becomes a contributor and eventually signs an extension that fairly resembling value he brings to the team, then fans will stop shitting on him. [Reply]
The #Bears are signing S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to a 1-year deal, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. Formerly of the #Redskins and #Packers, he gets a new home in Chicago.

Those are the kind of moves we need to make.
If he doesn't stay healthy (and it's most likely he won't, given his history) you're basically flushing $4M down the toilet. No thanks. [Reply]

You’re exaggerating. It’s a one year deal at a minimal cap hit, 3.6M is a drop in the bucket. If he gets hurt, he walks at the end of the year. Big deal [Reply]

Veach says the cap space and picks have them in position to be very aggressive.
I think everything is a possibility right now. [Reply]

Sorenson actually plays football.
You're advocating the Chiefs spend nearly $4M of their cap on a guy who tears an ACL taking a shit.
"If he stays healthy"....that's the biggest, riskiest "IF" in the league. [Reply]

As the great philosopher Le'veon once said 'life's a gamble' [Reply]

Nearly $4M is not a "drop in the bucket" for a team with limited cap space and needs everywhere.
Blowing that on a player that has NEVER been healthy.
NEVER. And that's not even an exaggeration. [Reply]
