The original Bushwood thread is overflowing like Craig Stadler's FUPA.
Use this thread to discuss tournaments, swing thoughts, equipment, and golf deals.
I thought we could also use the OP to create a WITB for ChiefsPlanet members. I'll list a poster's name and put their sticks in a spoiler tag, so you can see what everyone is carrying. [Reply]
I f'ing hate sports. Even when the Royals lost Game 7 I felt so proud of them, felt like they overachieved and maxed out. I felt fine when KU lost to Kentucky in 2012. But gawddam.....this feels so much like Roddick vs Fed in 2009.

Like I told the club Pro at Adams Point, "nice course, but don't think 'not mowing' is a cool way to make the course more challenging." That day I never lost any that were in the fairway, but I lost 5 that trickled off the fairway. Just because they had the first cut at 2.5 inches a round and the 2nd cut at nearly 4 inches doesn't make the course challenging, it just means (to me), the course is too cheap to mow. It's all good, they won't hear me complain again.
With their mindset any farmer in Kansas could randomly put 18 flags around their wheat farm, dig some holes and put some sand in them, mow a little more around the flags, and call the USGA hoping for next year's Open.
Great. Playing a tournament at Adams Pointe on Sunday. [Reply]

Things were pretty tight until Spieth made some shots on the back 9. He was up by 3, but doubled the 17th. That brought him back to the pack. He birdied 18 and only Dustin Johnson (playing in the last group) had a chance to win or tie. Johnson putted for eagle and the win from about 12 feet and ended up 3-putting. Spieth won. [Reply]
