Marlins rumored to now be taking offers on Yelich, Ozuna, and Realmuto.
Can't imagine what kind of package it would take to get Yelich but it would be damn nice to see him on the Cubs. I would think the Cardinals would have interest in any of those guys, not sure they have the pieces though. Reyes would definitely have to be involved in a deal for Yelich. [Reply]
I'd be half tempted to take offers on Hendricks and sell high on him. Last year when he led the league in ERA he was like 88-91 with his fastball. This year he's lucky to hit 87 and just not having the same success getting hitters off balance because of it. [Reply]
Remember when Lynn used to have the random blow up inning? That's Wacha every time he's staked to a lead in the early innings. He was never as good as he pitched in the 2013 NLCS, but I'm hard pressed to think of a pitcher in the system who was a bigger disappointment after initial success, outside of Ankiel. He's damn near a non-tender candidate. [Reply]

He had an unsustainable run of batted ball luck in 2016 and rode it to a fluke year. But yes, his velocity is way down, and everyone is going to see that. You should have sold on him in the offseason. Then again, the Cardinals are generally run like a store selling footwear for clowns, so we don't have much to laugh at. [Reply]
