Because 1 of the 3 refs couldn't see the puck for a split second he blew the whistle like he's the only zebra on the ice and like there's not reply systems and cameras all over the place and cost the preds a goal that may cost them the NHL Championship? Yeah, unfortunately it happens then, too. The whole "get it right, but only under these circumstances" is crap.... like that time the puck went over the glass and into the net, hit Quick's back and went in... they called it a goal and "not reviewable".... fucking bullshit, watch the video.
Blowing the play dead would definitely be one of those cases where it takes a lot to overturn, but when it's obvious, review it and get it right.
